Wailing Women was birthed in 2006 in accordance with the scriptures in Jeremiah 9:17-23. The Lord spoke to Jeremiah saying ‘Consider and call for the skilful women (in prayer) to come and let them mourn and weep in prayer for the condition of mankind’. In these last days God is calling for the mourners who will weep and wail in prayer for God to intervene and cause positive change to mankind. The psalmist wrote wonderful words of encouragement in Psalm 126:6. “He, who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him”.

Our aim is to teach and train women to be effective in their families, communities, churches and to train the Nations through the Word of God and prayer.

Our vision is to empower and equip women to fulfil their destiny and cause change to their lives, families, communities, churches and the Nations through prayer and Word of God. We want to teach our daughters wailing and everyone her neighbour a lamentation.
